This is a family friendly event that we encourage you all to jump, run, get muddy, help each other and have a good time while conquering obstacles. You’re never too young or to old to set goals and celebrate accomplishing them. It is an epic feeling universal for all ages.
Welcome to the Welsh Warrior
Taking on Welsh Warrior 5K Obstacle? You’ll tackle over 20 Obstacles such as quarter pipes, water slides, A-frames, cargo nets, swamps and much more. All obstacles on course are designed to be family friendly, challenging and fun! We encourage parents to run with their children.
All runners receive a free Welsh Warrior tee, Medal and a bottle of water as soon as they cross the finish line. You’ll also get access to our lively event village where you’ll find retailers, food stalls, coffee bar, drinks bar, inflatable activities and music playing throughout the day. We don’t charge spectators for coming to cheer on loved ones. Group booking is available, up to 30 runners can be booked onto one registration form at any one time.
If you’re running as part of a team but booking separately please ensure you all enter the same team name on the space provided on the booking form. This will ensure you all receive the same start time.
All juniors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in order to safeguard their wellbeing whilst out on course. Minimum child age for Welsh Warrior is 7 year old.
We do have course marshals located on every task plus running marshals but due to nature of our course all children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult (18+). We recommend a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children within this age range. If running as a team one adult must accompany each team.

Try and leave as much stuff as you can at home or in your car— but for the stuff you can’t leave behind, or that you don’t want covered in mud and water, we will have a secure place to check in your gear.
WHAT TO WEAR
We said “adventure" right? Well folks let’s get adventurous! There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running in mud and water, climbing hills and mountains and crawling under barbed wire. So choose wisely my friends.
